How It Works

1. Test Placement Appointment
A small amount of TB testing solution is injected just beneath the skin of your forearm by a trained healthcare professional.

2. Test Reading Appointment (48–72 Hours Later)
You will return to have your forearm assessed for a reaction. Once completed, you will receive documentation of your results.

Two-Step TB Testing

Some workplaces, schools, and healthcare programs require a 2-step TB skin test. This involves:

  • Two separate TB skin tests
  • Four total visits (placement and reading for each test)
  • The second test performed 7–21 days after the first test is read
